Solemn Mass and
Marian Musico-Literary Recital
Join the Cloistered Nuns of St Ursula as they celebrate the 440th anniversary from the founding of their monastery in Valletta by Grand Master de Loubenx Verdalle, on Saturday, 25th May 2024.
Solemn Mass will be celebrated by His Grace the Apostolic Nuncio in Malta, Archbishop Savio Hon Tai-Fai at 6.30 pm and will be followed by a Marian Musico-Literary recital with the participation of the St Paul Metropolitan Orchestra, the Anacrusis Concert Choir, Soprano Karen Darmenia, Mezzo Soprano Nicole Vassallo and Tenors Andrei Daranyi and Joseph Aquilina.

The SPMO Music under the Stars

The ROCKIT Experience
The Rockit Experience is an innovative concept whereby two musical genres which are generally conceived to be miles apart come together to create a one-of-a-kind musical experience. In this Classic meets Metal combo, two of music's foremost exponents on the island, The St Paul Metropolitan Orchestra and Metal band Oblique Visions, have combined their talents to create a fusion of musical textures based on the band's latest album, Out of Darkness. The result is a concert experience which is sure to be enjoyed by aficionados of the diverse genres. The performance will also feature the supporting Metal Band, Viper Soup Complex.
