The vitality of SPMO is created by the musicians, audience, professional administration, Patrons and Friends, corporate sponsors and volunteers.  In a relatively short time, the orchestra has become one of Malta’s foremost musical institutions, with a reputation for excellence and high calibre performances. This was only possible thanks to the
collective skill, effort and vision of its past and current contributors.

The Orchestra’s musicians very much appreciate their wonderful audiences, and we are doubly grateful to those who contribute over and above the cost of tickets. Their generous support makes it possible for the Orchestra not only to serve the community by regularly presenting a variety of extraordinary concerts, but also to nurture a life-long love of music in individuals of all ages and backgrounds through innovative education and community engagement programs.

SPMO’s mission is to touch hearts and enrich lives through music. Our Support Schemes are not designed for the rich but rather for the enriched, and we hope you will join us in making sure the music keeps on playing.
